3M Diamond Microfinishing Film Belts use a uniform layer of diamond abrasive in a resin bond on a flexible polyester film backing. They deliver consistent cut rates and a controlled surface finish on hard, difficult-to-finish materials such as carbides, ceramics, hardened steels, and glass.
The precision film backing keeps the belt flat and even from edge to edge, so results stay repeatable from belt to belt. Compared with conventional abrasives, diamond film belts last longer on hard materials, which means fewer belt changes and more consistent parts. Available in a range of sizes and grits to fit benchtop, contact-wheel, and precision finishing equipment.
